If you saw my last post, you know a little about Joshua.  Hopefully this card will do the trick to put a smile on his face.  I don't have a stamp of a tripped out race car, but I do have a rocket!

I remember how much my nieces love interactive cards, so I thought this shadow box card would be perfect.  I wanted to keep the card cheerful and, well, uplifting ;)

Washi City

A couple of things hit me at the same time this weekend.  First, I was struck by a comment that someone recently made, "what's Washi tape?"  (Oh my... is this person in for a delightful surprise!!!)  I was also struck by a crazy fun "cityscape" challenge over at Moxie Fab World.  I don't know what got into me (maybe it was my desire to avoid my statistics homework and avoid reality) but I decided to make a washi city.  

 

Yup, you heard me right, a washi city.

 

Doesn't that sound like heaven?

 

It was only after making this that I noticed someone else had made a tape city... oh well.  Here I thought I was being all original or something, LOL. That's what I get for being behind on my blog hopping!

I still think it's fun and I imagine myself sneaking away in that cute little bug to a far away place with pink and polka-dotted skyscrapers and super fluffy clouds.  Yup, I'll go there! Pretty please!
