There's no doubt that I find Miss Julie to be one of the most wonderful people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, as well as so stinking talented! She is pure genuine in every sense of the word - genuinely warm, genuinely kind, genuinely comforting, genuinely generous, genuinely wicked, genuinely clever! It's no wonder everyone on the A Muse team, and in the crafting world, adore her (and that is an understatement). I say this not to kiss Miss Julie's tooshie (I just dabble in this card thing for the fun of it, I have no ambition other than to spread the love and have a little fun) but because I truly think so highly of her.
So, why all the praise? Well, I'm not the only one who thinks she's fabulous! In fact, this month's challenge over on the A Muse Lounge is to design a card inspired by Julie!
When I think of Julie's current designs, I think of her recent fetish with patterned paper, lovely ribbon she is learning NOT to hoard, nature elements, and cards that aren't a "normal" shape. There's also a "crispness" to her cards that make them so appealing. I also think of Gollum looking at her designs saying, "my precious", but I'll admit that this tiny detail kinda creeps me out! LOL
So, to Julie (picture me raising an apple martini):
Oh yeah, and St. Patty's day is around the corner, so thought this would be fun! Hope I did you proud girl, thanks for always being an inspiration to me in so many ways!
Stamps: Tiny heart and Thank you for everything by A Muse
Paper: Sage and Grass shimmer couture solid by A Muse, patterned paper by Best Creation Inc.
ink: Memento cottage ivy and A Muse black dye ink
Other: A Muse black twinkle stickers, Zutter 1/2" corner rounder, Martha stewart arch lattice border punch, unkonwn ribbon (I bought a scrap of it a loooong time ago!)
Very nice, Jill!! (and I haven't seen that particular border punch before. I love it!)

This is very pretty, Jill. I think you did her proud! It was so wonderful to meet you Saturday, take your Copic class and have lunch with you and Gena. I learned so much which will be evident when I post my "Royal Rubberness" card (hopefully later today).

I'm so behind on commenting... What a great card! I see I made my shamrocks the same way that you did. I also love that you made the card the same color as Julie's favorite 'tini :)
