You didn't think I'd let October pass without posting at least ONE Halloween card, did you?  I mean, a girl does have her priorities.  ;)

Embossed black damask on slate.  My homage to the Haunted Mansion at D-Land.  I had to sneak in a couple spiders. *love*

Ok, now back to writing my thesis (shhh... don't tell my advisor I snuck away to play... oh, wait, does she read my blog???)

{A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA} baby!!!

Eek!  It's finally here!  It's A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA and that means I get to share a fabulous peek at A Muse Artstamps biggest release of the year with you!  

Today's theme is Halloween (believe it or not, it will be here before you know it!)  I thought I'd share a "page" from the adorable mini book I'm teaching at Paper Tales in San Diego on Saturday, July 10th (the class starts at 1:00 and there are still a couple spots available if you can swing by).

Pajama Party on the Lounge! AMLPJFALL01

Tonight is a pajama party on the A Muse Lounge (you can link to the lounge by clicking here).  The first challenge of the night is to make a card based on your favorite Halloween candy.  

This is an easy one for me as the only candy I buy for myself for Halloween is either candy corn or reeces peanut butter cups (love the fall foils!)  So I'll admit I'm cheating here just a teeny bit.  I've been pretty busy all day so I thought I'd show a sneak of a card coming up in my "Falling Out of the Box" card class at Stampin Ej's on October 3rd, giving me a chance to finish my last chore and hopefully play the rest of the night!

Gotta run so I can participate in the other challenges!  Hope you are having a great night and get to play too!

Amuse-bouche Halloween

So not only am I excited to share some fabulous new images by A Muse, but another wonderful find as well...

Eek!  Glow in the dark glitter!  I though it paired perfectly with this fun new tiny witch stamp by A Muse.  (And I apologize profusely for the picture, seems I'm unable to take a picture in the dark that's not blurry.  I'm going to have to practice.)

It would be boring to fly around all by yourself, so why not take the girls out with you?  They are, of course, flying over a moon made by punching a circle (of lime note card) covered in glow-in-the-dark glitter.

And did you notice the wonderful new polka dot lime and black ribbon and twinkle stickers?  I am one happy stamper.  

I hope you are enjoying all of these amuse-bouches!  Rumor has it, some stamps stores have already gotten their shipments of these fun new stamps in so you can fill up your own treat bag!

Amuse-bouche Halloween Sweet Tooth

Today's amuse-bouche is all about those tasty little treats that zing us all around Halloween!  I remember the vast amounts of trick-or-treat candy I used to eat as a kid.  Sure can't do that any more, so it's good that I have stamps of sweets to play with instead.  A Muse has a couple of really cute treat stamps in this new release.  With that in mind, could have gone the sweet route in my card... but I found the new sentiment, "bite me", to be very tempting!

Did you notice the beautiful new note card  color?  Blackberry baby!  It's the most beautiful shade of deep, almost eggplant purple.

A Muse Bouche - Vintage Halloween Style

Oh!  I'm having so much fun with these new A Muse stamps.  I finally got the second batch of them in the mail today (so hard to be patient), hence my late post today.  The new slate notecards are SO BEAUTIFUL!  I'm having a lot of fun with them as well as the long awaited sentiment, "Wicked".  

I wanted to use the new spooky tree stamp in a different way, and I love the effect of making it look like a gnarly vine.  And did you notice the beautiful new paprika note card (used to make the wicked sign) and orange twinkle stickers?  Love it!  I'm having so much fun I think I'll decorate the house for Halloween this weekend (sorry honey)!

It's that time again!  A Muse is about to release their fabulous new line of Halloween stamps and I have a tasty treat for you today! EEK!
