Several months ago I saw a very cool print in a Starbucks. I fell in love with the pattern, and decided to make a card inspired by the print. This tree card is my homage to that print. Sadly, I have known a couple people recently who have suffered the loss of their fathers. This card makes me feel peaceful, and so I thought it would make a lovely sympathy card.
I hand cut the background pieces as well as the tree. The leaves and flowers come in a set from Martha Stewart crafts. I used mounting tape to make the tree stand out, and only glued a tiny edge of the leaves and flowers to add further dimension.
